We are the products of our environment, and I must say I'm glad to live in Los Angeles. There's a special vibe to this chaotic mega suburb at the edge of western civilization. Sometimes it seems the colors are blurred, all faded into subtle shades of gray from overexposure to the sun, sometimes the air is fresh and crisp and paints everything in almost surreal brightness. LA is a place of contrasts, shoulder to shoulder, beat up cars next to shiny limousines, a place halfway between the gutter and the stars. A perfect environment for creative people to shine - and to suffer.
